Ismael Pineda Jr. is a music producer, composer, arranger, sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist/percussionist with over 25 years of experience across recorded music, live performance, film, television, and education. Bridging artistry and technical precision, he brings a modern, detail-driven approach to every project — guiding music from concept to completion with clarity, intention, and sonic excellence.

As a producer, recording, mixing, and mastering engineer, Ismael has led projects from pre-production through final delivery for Grammy Award–winning artist Rosalie Elena Rodriguez, as well as Gloria Piedra, Chuyin Gudiño, Carlos Cipriano, and Will Argueta. From songwriting and arrangement to vocal production, recording, mixing, and final mastering, he oversees every phase of the creative and technical process — shaping records that balance artistic authenticity with a polished, competitive sound.

As a performer, Ismael has contributed percussion to commercially released recordings for artists such as Benny Blanco, The Temptations, Fuerza Regida, Gerardo Ortiz, will.i.am, Janiva Magness (Grammy-nominated Love Wins Again), La Santa Cecilia, Janey Street, and Scout Durwood, among others. His genre-spanning experience — from Latin, regional Mexican, and salsa to blues, R&B, rock, and contemporary pop — reflects both versatility and a deep respect for musical tradition.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Ismael earned his Master of Music in Music Production, an achievement that sharpened his technical expertise while reinforcing his commitment to innovation in modern production. His academic foundation, paired with decades of hands-on experience, allows him to move fluidly between creative vision and engineering precision.

Beyond his professional work, Ismael is dedicated to mentorship and community impact. He has contributed his time and expertise to youth and emerging producers through programs such as LA Phil’s YOLA, the Playing for Change Foundation, and various local schools and community initiatives — helping cultivate the next generation of artists and music creators.
